The Marching Tiger Band is the most visible group of the Fishers High School Band Program. Starting in the summer, this vibrant group practices through November. They participate in numerous competitions, leading State and Grand National Championships
The marching band is comprised of the band and a color guard, which provides much of the visual spectacle of the performance. During performances, each band member goes through a series of movements, or drills, traveling across the field performing 100 different form sets. It takes incredible teamwork and dedication.
While marching band is an extra-curricular activity, students who participate in the Fishers High School Marching Band are also required to participate in one of the curricular Concert Bands, which meet as a high school class daily.
