This vibrant group of musicians begins practicing in the summer months, participating in the SPARK FISHERS parade and preparing for their upcoming competition season. During the school year, the marching band competes in numerous local, regional, and national competitions. Recently, the band has been a Bands of America Super Regional Finalist, Grand National Finalist, and a top three ISSMA State marching band finalist!

Although marching band is an extracurricular activity, students who participate in the Fishers High School Marching Band are required to enroll in one of the curricular band classes, such as concert band, jazz ensemble, or percussion ensemble.
