10:00 am – Meet at FHS Band room
10:30 am – Warm Up & rehearsal on the practice field
1:00 pm – Lunch: Bring your own sack lunch
2:00 pm – Rehearsal on the field with Hats & Shoes
5:00 pm – Load Equipment & Eat: Booster Dinner
5:45 pm – Pow Wow
6:15 pm – Change into bibbers, shoes, and show shirt
6:45 pm – Final Check & Load the busses
7:00 pm – Depart for Lawrence Central
7:30 pm – Arrive at LC unload equipment & change into uniform
8:26 pm– Report & transit to Physical warm up
8:39 pm – Physical Warm Up
9:03 pm – Transit to Musical warm up
9:08 pm – Musical Warm Up
9:32 pm – Transit to performance
9:45 pm – Stage
9:48 pm– PERFORMANCE
9:58 pm – Exit the field – Go back to Buses to change and load, then go watch other “A” Bands
10:40 pm – Awards Ceremony
11:00 pm – Load busses and depart for FHS
11:30 pm – Arrive back at FHS and EVERYBODY helps unload
REMEMBER…
- Bring your marching shoes & Black socks
- Pack a sack lunch.
- Have EVERYTHING you need to make your instrument work properly
- Help load and unload by lining up cases, lifting up instrument etc.
- Be on time (When you’re late…the entire band is late)
- Behave appropriately on the bus
- Be respectful of those who are volunteering their time to help our band
- Dress for the weather
- Take care of the uniform
- Do your very best and do not worry about scores or how you placed
- Help you fellows Bandsmen when you can
This is our first band trip together. Listen to all direction and be ready to roll. Have fun, relax, and enjoy performing with pride and passion. Also enjoy listening and watching other bands do their thing. Remember, do your best and you will be successful no matter the score.
