Student Accounts

Students participating in Marching Band, Winter Percussion, and Winter Guard must pay participation fees that cover related costs including uniforms, food, costumes, equipment, transportation, food, competition entry fees, staff, and other expenses. Additional fees may also be assessed to your student’s account as needed, like gloves, shoes, socks, mallets/sticks, and travel costs for away competitions. Personal fundraising opportunities are available to help earn mone toward your student’s account. Students in need of financial assistance may apply for a scholarship.

2025-26 Fishers High School Winter Guard

To officially register and become part of the ensemble, please fill out the form below & make first payment by 12/8/25 via Cut Time or by mailing a check to FHS Band Boosters, PO Box 188, Fishers IN 46038.  Registration is not complete without the first month’s non-refundable payment.

Registration

2025-26 Winter Guard Fees:

WORLD Guard dues are $1400.00 + $300 Dayton Trip Fee

A Guard Dues are $800.00

JV Guard Dues are $600.00

Pay via Cut Time You can make a payment through your student’s Cut Time account. A 3.61% convenience fee will be added to your payment.

Pay via Check

Make checks payable to FHS Band Boosters. Include your student’s full name on the memo line.

  • Mail the check to FHS Band Boosters at P.O. Box 188, Fishers, Indiana 46038.
  • OR drop the check in the payment box in the Band Room (left of the entrance door by the kitchenette).

Students with credit on their account will see that reflected on their Cut Time Statement. If you have questions about your credit, please email studentaccounts@fishersband.org.  If you owe a balance from a previous season, your registration will not be activated until you contact Student Accounts to make arrangements to clear the balance.

Financial Assistance

If you would like to apply for a needs based scholarship, please complete the scholarship application by January 9, 2026.  Applicants will be notified within two weeks of the deadline.

Personal Fundraising opportunities are available to you and your students to earn money towards your student’s account.

Eligibility

  • Ages 14+ can work. A valid liquor permit is required for anyone 21+ in alcohol sales roles.

Earning Potential

  • Youth (14+): $10/hr and Adults (18+): $12/hr. Tips are split between licensed adults.

**10% of the money earned will go toward the general fee. 90% will be applied to your student’s account. Dress Code

  • Held outdoors, so dress code varies with the weather.
  • Pants or appropriate length shorts
  • T-shirts (no sleeveless shirts)
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Hat required

Event Schedule

  • Typically starts at the end of June with Symphony on the Prairie and runs through the end of December with Merry Prairie Holidays/Breakfast with Santa.

Additional Details

  • Make sure to sign in and out on the volunteer clipboard for your shift.
  • Ensure your student’s name is listed correctly on the sign-in sheet so the correct account is credited.
  • Some positions require a Volunteer Employee Liquor License and have a minimum age of 21.
  • You may volunteer with or without your student.
  • Conner Prairie pays volunteers twice a month.

Earning Potential

Earn at least $100 plus tips per event. Tips are split per person in the stand. Some events may have a bigger base rate. **10% of the money earned will go toward the general fee. 90% will be applied to your student’s account.

Roles

Alcohol sales require a licensed person (21+) to run the register. Nonalcoholic events can have 18+ non-licensed individuals run the register.

Event Duration

Colts games and concerts typically last around 8 hours. Other events may vary. Parking is free in specified lot but passes are very limited so carpooling is strongly advised! For every 6 people we get 1 parking pass. Car pool planning is often determined by the person in charge to ensure we are complying with Lucas Oil rules.

Dress Code – Very Important

Black dress pants (no jeans, leggings, holes, or ripped pants) Black t-shirt (long or short sleeves, no sleeveless) All black shoes (preferably tennis shoes, no sandals or open-toe shoes) Hat/visor (preferably a Fishers Tiger Band hat)   Lucas Oil clear bag policies are in place at all times!   If you do not have these items, you will be sent home, not allowed to work, and the program will be assessed a fine from Lucas Oil.

  • Rolls cost $13 each. $3.50 per roll goes directly to your student’s account and $1.55 goes to the general fund.

Additional Details

  • Before dropping off orders and checks in the band room payment box, please let the Trash Bag team know.
  • Trash bag rolls come in 5 different styles.
  • There is plenty of inventory to handle most orders. If you need inventory,  notify the Trash Bag team.
  • There is no limitation on who you may sell to – businesses, families, churches, etc…

  • Each organization partners with event venues to provide staffing for various events (concerts, sporting events, etc…). You can sign up to work as many or as few events as you need.
  • The money earned is tax free.
  • These organizations are not associated with the Fishers Band Program. Any work you do through these organizations is done and payment received is through the organization.

How to Obtain Your Liquor Permit:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to Indiana ATC Online Services – https://www.in.gov/atc/atc-online-services/
  2. Apply for Permit: Click on “First time applicant” or “renewal” under the Employee Permits section. Sign up and apply for the Volunteer Employee Liquor License. The cost is $15.
  3. Complete Mandatory Class/Video: During your application, you will be prompted to watch and pass a mandatory class/video. This can be found under the Education tab in the menu to the left.
  4. Carry Both Documents: Ensure you have both your liquor permit and the certificate from the mandatory class with you when you volunteer at any of the mentioned locations.
