    1. Kohler: We can’t do what we do without the parent help, you are the backbone – thank you for an incredible season. There has been incredible growth this year in the students. 24 bands going to Grand Nats have been finalists before – this is the most stacked grand nats that there has ever been. It’s been an incredible season and we are excited about the awards night.

Pep Band starts next week!

Gardner: This is the best the band has ever sounded, even if we don’t make the finals, these are the best bands in the country. 5 bands coming have one grand nationals, 14 bands coming have won their state competitions. This is the most successful season we’ve ever had. First official big game for pep band is the mudsock game over winter break. The band sounds completely different from Super Regionals. Solo & Ensemble forms are available. Try to convince your kids to do solo & ensemble.

Jazz lab band will startup in January – will see the Lincoln Center Orchestra at Purdue, January 31st.

Johnson: Very excited about this week, it’s bittersweet and the kids are great about pushing to the end. Regardless of what happens, it has been a FANTASTIC year.
