Band Boosters Meeting

Call to Order: Ryan Bradford called the meeting to order at 7:03

Approval of minutes from November Meeting:  Larry Stockton motioned and Neal Reeves seconded.

Presidents Report:

  • Get Registered
    • Google Form – many are not completed, please get the google forms and physical completed.
    • Signed Contract
    • Physical – Physicals must be completed by the beginning of band camp.
    • Early Bird due tomorrow
    • Scholarships Available – Scholarships are available, please use the link on the Google Registration form.
  • Upcoming
    • Percussion Banquet – May 28th 6:30pm
    • May 24th Camp Day – This is CANCELLED
    • June Camp – please look at the Band Calendar on the website.
      • Newbies: June 11-13
      • All Members: June 16-27
      • Section Parent Meet and Greet:June 27
    • Spark Parade: June 28
    • July Camp Begins: July 21
    • Family Preview Night: August 1
  • Committee and Section Parents still needed: Food Committee, Sponsorship and Fundraising for the band program. Trumpets and Flutes need a section parent.

Directors Report:

  • Great end of the year and the Nickel Plate Concert went well.
  • Wind Ensemble placed 3rd place at States.
  • New Color Guard Director – Andre Williams.
  • FJH concert here 5/21
  • Please get registered so we can have final numbers for drill.
  • Uniforms will be measured during TI and New members will be sent a video to make measurements.
  • Thanks to parents who helped out cleaning the barn.

Vice President Report:

  • NA

Treasurer Report

  • Approx 89k sitting in the accounts. New budget will be voted on tonight.
  • Game Show Night Recap – raised about $1500 for tickets and concessions.
  • Pass the Bucket at the Nickel Plate Concert raised $1300 for the Senior Scholarship Fund.

Secretary Report

  • NA

Student Accounts Report

  • Please register and thank you to those who have already paid in full. First payment is due June 1st and be sure to sign up for scholarships.

Committee Updates

  • Food Committee – Erin Rogers is needing 2 co-chairs for the committee.
  • Social Media – Need beginning parents (Freshman/Soph) to pair up and learn the social media channels this year to prepare for Anne-Marie and Liz to move on next year.
